After your consultation & examination, the doctor will determine if x-rays are required. If the Dr. Cottingham believes special x-rays or advanced testing (CAT scan, MRI, Bone Scan, Ultrasound, etc..) is required you will be referred to your PCP or an outside imaging center.

Any needed spinal x-rays can / will be taken in the chiropractic office. Dr. Cottingham will review the x-rays for non-chiropractic findings then analyze the films for biomechanical imbalances. If non-chiropractic findings are found, your films will be sent to an outside radiologist for overreading.
